NX12M Overview
The Sound Barrier NX12M is a compact, high-output passive two-way loudspeaker designed to meet the demands of medium-sized indoor venues, portable PA applications, and fixed installations. It achieves a maximum SPL of 130dB at 1m, making it well-suited for high-level environments such as dance floors, frontfill and infill positions, and distributed reinforcement systems. The transducer complement includes a high-power 12″ low-frequency driver paired with a 1″ exit, 1.75″ titanium diaphragm compression driver featuring built-in over-current and over-voltage protection. System integrators, touring engineers, and installation professionals will find the NX12M equally capable as a stand-alone system or as a satellite paired with an NX series subwoofer.
The NX12M is constructed from birch plywood with a black textured paint finish, offering a durable and professional appearance suited to both portable and permanent deployments across short and medium throw distances.
