The Sound Barrier iLX18DSUB is an 18-inch active subwoofer built for professional sound reinforcement in large venues, live events, nightclubs, and touring applications. Powered by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, the iLX18DSUB delivers extended low-frequency output with strong headroom and control. Onboard system controls include a selectable crossover frequency (80Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz, or 150Hz) and a 0°/180° phase switch for precise alignment with full-range loudspeakers. This subwoofer is well suited for system integrators, touring engineers, and venue operators who require flexible, reliable low-frequency reinforcement.
The iLX18DSUB’s Full/HPF output selector allows connected loudspeakers to receive either a full-range signal or a high-pass filtered signal above 120Hz, streamlining system configuration without additional outboard processing. A Ground Lift switch is also included to address noise issues common in complex multi-device setups.
