The Sound Barrier SB20UIR is a 20U anti-shock road rack case built for touring companies, system integrators, and production professionals who require maximum protection for rack-mounted equipment in transit. The case is constructed with 12mm thick premium wood board set within a custom-made aluminum profile, with upper and lower aluminum profile joints secured by aluminum welding rather than conventional pull studs. An internal fixed structure frame of 5mm iron plate is bonded to the case body using high-strength shock-absorbing glue, delivering a shockproof performance that outperforms traditional chassis designs. This case is suited for touring rigs, broadcast flypack systems, and any application where fully loaded rack gear must survive the rigors of repeated road transport.
The SB20UIR ships with standard front and back dual rack strips, cage nuts, and a full-size 18mm plywood painted caster board, allowing immediate deployment without additional hardware sourcing.
