iLX12D Overview
The Sound Barrier iLX12D is a two-way, full-range active loudspeaker powered by an efficient Class-D bi-amplified amplifier delivering 1400W of output through a 12-inch low-frequency driver and a high-frequency compression driver. Integrated DSP processing with four selectable presets allows rapid tailoring of the loudspeaker’s response to different applications and room conditions, all managed from an onboard LCD display and rear-panel menu system. The iLX12D is engineered for mobile DJs, live bands, houses of worship, corporate events, and permanent installations requiring powerful sound reinforcement without the immediate need for subwoofers. A universal power supply supporting 100V–240V and locking PowerCON-type AC connectivity make it equally suited for touring and fixed-install environments worldwide.
The rear-panel DSP controller provides direct access to equalization, subwoofer crossover and delay alignment, display settings, and full management of the SBT wireless audio and TWS stereo pairing functions, eliminating the need for external processors during system configuration.
