The Q5X AquaMic is a waterproof wireless bodypack transmitter developed through a collaborative technology effort between Q5X and Shure, designed to operate exclusively with Shure Axient Digital wireless receivers. Tested by Q5X to be fully submersible up to 10 meters, it is purpose-built for the harshest environmental conditions encountered in reality television, film production, and sports broadcasting. The AquaMic pairs with Axient Digital’s infrastructure to deliver superior digital transmission with advanced encryption and spectrum efficiency. It is an essential tool for production sound mixers, broadcast engineers, and system integrators who cannot afford audio failure in wet or extreme environments.
Available in two versions, Regular and LongLife, the AquaMic provides flexibility for productions with varying runtime and operational requirements.
