A120S Overview
The Shure A120S is an inline on/off switch designed to add flexible microphone control to professional audio installations and live applications. It supports latch on/off, push-to-talk, and push-to-mute (cough button) configurations, making it adaptable to a wide range of use cases. The unit can be wired normally-open or normally-closed and is compatible with both balanced mono and unbalanced stereo audio signals. It is well suited for broadcast facilities, houses of worship, conference environments, and any installation requiring discrete microphone switching.
The A120S is contoured for comfortable in-hand use and includes an attached belt clip that rotates to four positions for convenient mounting flexibility. Supplied unterminated, the unit requires installer soldering to configure the desired function.
