The K&M 18872 Extension Rod is a purpose-built accessory for integrating microphone booms into Spider Pro and Baby-Spider Pro keyboard stand configurations. Designed specifically for use with the Spider Pro 18860 and Baby-Spider Pro 18840 column stands, it solves the clearance problem that arises when the laptop rest 18863 is installed. The rod provides height adjustment from 330 to 550 mm via a clutch mechanism and terminates in a 3/8″ threaded connector for standard boom attachment. This accessory is suited for performing keyboardists, production setups, and live stage configurations requiring a microphone position above an occupied laptop shelf.
