OM3S Overview
The Audix OM3S is a dynamic vocal microphone built for a wide range of stage, home, and studio applications, delivering clear and accurate sound reproduction with strong resistance to feedback. It employs a VLM™ diaphragm across a frequency range of 50 Hz–18 kHz, providing precise voice response and the ability to handle very high SPLs without distortion. The hypercardioid polar pattern offers a tight, uniform pickup that isolates vocals from surrounding stage instruments. The OM3S is well suited for vocalists, live sound engineers, and venue operators working across small to large PA systems.
Designed with slight bass proximity and a tailored mid-range voicing, the OM3S delivers full-bodied sound on small to mid-sized PA systems while maintaining accurate reproduction on large or professional rigs. The OM3S variant adds an integrated on/off switch for added stage control. Designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
