OM2 Overview
The Audix OM2 is a professional dynamic vocal microphone designed for a wide range of stage, home, and studio applications. It employs a VLM™ diaphragm for clear, precise sound reproduction with exceptional voice response across a 50 Hz–16 kHz frequency range. The hypercardioid polar pattern provides a tight, uniform pickup that isolates vocals from surrounding stage instruments and resists feedback in demanding live environments. It is well suited for vocalists, live sound engineers, system integrators, and venues running small to large-format PA systems.
Designed with slight bass proximity effect and a tailored mid-range response, the OM2 delivers full-bodied sound on small to mid-sized PA systems while maintaining accurate reproduction on large or professional-grade systems. The OM2 is designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
