MicroPod 18 Overview
The Audix MicroPod Series is a modular gooseneck microphone system pairing the M1250B miniature condenser microphone with an 18-inch gooseneck, purpose-built for presentations, conferencing, meetings, and installed sound environments. The system features a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern that isolates the speaker from ambient room noise, with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 19 kHz for natural speech reproduction and exceptional transient response. Hypercardioid and shotgun polar pattern options are also available for tighter pickup or greater reach. The MicroPod Series is well suited for audio engineers, AV integrators, houses of worship, and corporate installation professionals requiring reliable, low-profile speech capture.
The gooseneck terminates in a standard XLR male connector and is compatible with any microphone from the Audix Micros Series, providing flexibility across a broad range of installed applications. The system is designed, machined, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
