M45 Overview
The Audix M45 is a miniaturized shotgun condenser microphone designed for permanent ceiling installation in conference rooms, houses of worship, broadcast facilities, and other installed sound environments. It features a swivel-and-pivot base for precise aiming and positioning, an integrated preamp for clean mic-level output, and immunity from RF interference to ensure reliable performance in complex RF environments. The M45 is well suited for AV integrators, systems engineers, and facilities requiring discreet, high-intelligibility speech capture from overhead positions.
Signal routing and LED status control are handled over a single RJ45 connection, and an included adapter converts to an 8-conductor pluggable terminal block for flexible integration with existing infrastructure. The M45 is designed, machined, assembled, and tested by Audix in Wilsonville, Oregon.
