Audix ADS48 — UHF Antenna Distribution System
ADS48 Overview
The Audix ADS48 is a wide-range UHF antenna distribution system designed to streamline multi-channel wireless deployments in live sound, houses of worship, broadcast, and touring applications. It consolidates up to four wireless receivers onto a single pair of antennas, reducing cable runs and antenna clutter in dense RF environments. An internal switching power supply eliminates the need for individual DC power supplies on each receiver, simplifying rack builds and reducing points of failure. The ADS48 is purpose-built for audio engineers and system integrators managing complex wireless systems in rack-based installations.
When paired with the Audix AP42 or AP62 two-channel receiver systems, the ADS48 supports up to 8 channels of wireless operation from a single antenna pair, with the entire system occupying only 5 rack spaces.
Key Features
- Wide-Range UHF Distribution — supports up to four wireless receiver systems operating from a single antenna pair, reducing infrastructure complexity in multi-channel setups
- Internal RF Amplification — onboard amplification compensates for signal loss introduced by splitting, maintaining consistent RF performance across all connected receivers
- Integrated Switching Power Supply — eliminates the need for individual DC power supplies on each connected receiver, reducing rack space consumption and cable management overhead
- AP42 and AP62 Compatibility — when used with Audix two-channel receiver systems, supports up to 8 channels of wireless from a single antenna pair
- Compact Rack Footprint — the full 8-channel configuration with compatible receivers occupies only 5 rack spaces, optimizing space in touring and installed racks
