OM3 Overview
The Audix OM3 is a hypercardioid dynamic vocal microphone built for a wide range of live stage, home recording, and studio applications. Its VLM™ diaphragm delivers clear, precise sound reproduction with exceptional voice response across a 50 Hz–18 kHz frequency range. The tight, uniform polar pattern effectively isolates vocals from surrounding stage instruments, making it a reliable choice for engineers managing complex live monitor mixes. Designed with slight bass proximity effect and a tailored mid-range voicing, the OM3 performs consistently on small to mid-sized PA systems and scales accurately on large professional rigs.
The OM3 is designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA, and is also available as the OM3S, which adds an on/off switch for added stage flexibility.
