MicroBoom System Overview
The Audix MicroBoom System is a professional carbon fiber microphone boom solution engineered for hard-to-reach miking applications including choir lofts, live theater, and orchestral settings. Available in 24″ (610 mm), 50″ (1270 mm), and 84″ (2134 mm) lengths, each boom is compatible with the full Audix Micros series, offering a broad selection of pickup patterns including cardioid and hypercardioid configurations. Internal high-quality shielded cable ensures a clean audio signal path from capsule to the base of the boom. This system is designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA, making it a reliable choice for audio engineers, system integrators, houses of worship, and touring production companies.
The MicroBoom attaches to any standard microphone stand via a flexible metal gooseneck stand adapter that provides full control over angle, rotation, and position, delivering a clean and professional stage appearance without compromising portability.
